From November 14 to 22, 2020, the 2nd Henan University Chemical Experiment Invitational Competition was held in the Basic Experiment Center of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.Thecompetitorsare undergraduate students of Henan University, participating in individual form.

The competition is divided into two stages: written test and experimental operation. 217 players from 11 colleges participated in the preliminary test. After the written test, 47 players entered the experimental operation stage.

The experimental operation part comprehensively examines the competitor's research capabilities in various aspects such as basic experiment operation, experimental arrangement and design, observation and recording of experimental phenomena, instrument use and data collection, analysis and problem-solving abilities.

This competition invites teachers from the Department of Chemistry and the Basic Experimental Teaching Center as judges, and evaluate based on the participants' written examination and experimental operation results to ensure the fairness of the competition.
